CALGARY (August 4, 2009) –The Wine Access International Value Wine Awards (IVWA) is North America's premier value wine competition. Held annually in Calgary, Alberta, the IVWA seeks out the best wines retailing for $25 CDN or less anywhere in the Canadian market. Full results will appear in the October/November issue of Wine Access magazine.  Below we present the Wine Access 2010 International Value Wine Awards winners from the Rosé category — no matter what your personal taste, or how you intend to serve it, one of these wines is sure to brighten your patio this summer (and save you money, too).

Rosé

The vogue for rosé wines continues to gain momentum, with wine lovers the world over warming up to pink all year long. France and Spain have been champions of the style for eons, but a broad array of serious grapes and interesting regions are expanding our horizons for rosé. The best rosés are youthful and vibrant, and capable of aging a few years. These wines may be most versatile food wines around, so go ahead and pair any of these picks with tasty summer fare.
