Käthe is the editor of Avenue magazine and the editorial director for RedPoint. She heads the editorial department for the company, ensuring that our team of in-house editors and writers have the resources, skills and inspiration to do the quality work that RedPoint is known for. She is also responsible for maintaining the high quality of RedPoint's editorial processes.

Käthe has worked as a magazine editor for more than 12 years. Previous to being named editorial director, she worked as an instructor in Athabasca University's communications studies department at the same time as editing Avenue. In addition to her work with RedPoint, Käthe is the president of the Amber Webb-Bowerman Memorial Foundation, a registered charity that provides awards and scholarships to students in journalism and the arts. In 2011, she was named Editor of the Year by the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association.
