Gumisastay

Gumisastay was created out of a need for the Tsuu T’ina Nation to better communicate with its residents and inspire dialogue about the community’s past, present and future. The Chief and the rest of the administration felt that a magazine sent directly to its 1,200 residents would best accomplish these communication goals.

The Results

Upon release of the first issue in April 2009, the entire community took notice. Requests poured in not only to receive the publication on a regular basis, but Nation residents also clamoured to be a part of future publications.
